Tonči Glavina, the Croatian Minister of Tourism and Sports, reported on the initial results of the 2025 tourist season in a podcast. He highlighted a 11% increase in tourist arrivals and a 19% increase in overnight stays in June compared to the previous year. Despite a 20% decline in March, April saw a recovery, and June compensated for weaker May numbers. Glavina acknowledged rising prices but emphasized Croatia's good value for money and warned against unjustified price hikes in peak season. He also mentioned a new legal reform aimed at limiting excessive apartment growth to protect coastal resources. Teljes cikk (Portfolio.hu)
