Astronomers have observed a black hole in the NGC 3783 galaxy, 130 million light-years away, emitting ultra-fast winds reaching nearly 60,000 km/s. This discovery, made using the XMM-Newton and XRISM telescopes, shows how a rapid burst of X-ray light triggers these winds, similar to solar flares but on a much larger scale.
