An elderly British couple, Peter and Barbie Reynolds, aged 79 and 75, were arrested in Afghanistan while returning home. They have lived there for 18 years and run an organization called Rebuild. The Taliban has stated they will be released 'as soon as possible' but did not disclose the reasons for their detention. Their family is urging the UK government to intervene.
