The restoration of Antoni Gaudí's rear façade and private courtyard at Casa Batlló, costing 3.5 million euros, marks a historic milestone as it is the first comprehensive restoration since 1915. The project, led by architect Xavier Villanueva, revealed original colors and elements that had been lost over time. The courtyard has been transformed with the recreation of a heather pergola and the replication of Nolla mosaic paving.
