Christophe Leribault has been appointed as the new director of the Louvre Museum in Paris, succeeding Laurence des Cars. His main responsibilities include ensuring the museum's security and modernization, as well as implementing President Macron's 'New Renaissance' project. This follows a €800 million renovation plan announced due to concerns over the museum's infrastructure. Leribault will also address recent crises, including the theft of crown jewels.
