A small electric aeroplane, ALIA CTOL, made its first test flight in Denmark, traveling 200 km between Sønderborg and Copenhagen. Developed by Beta Technologies, it offers a sustainable alternative to traditional aircraft, emitting significantly less carbon dioxide. The plane can be charged quickly and is set to begin cargo flights in Norway. The Danish government aims for fully sustainable domestic flights by 2025, with broader fossil-free goals by 2030.
