Csaba Domotor, an MEP, highlighted that 37,000 contracts totaling 17 billion euros were signed during this period. He criticized the funding system as a top-down approach that undermines genuine civil society and democracy, noting that many funded organizations are closely tied to the EU and promote liberal policies.
