A Colombian national, Andrés Alfonso de la Hoz de la Cruz, was sentenced to eight years in prison for plotting an arson attack on public transport in Prague, believed to be orchestrated by Russia. He was ordered to pay damages and had previously set three buses ablaze. Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala suggested the attack was part of Russia's efforts to undermine trust in the state.
