Denmark's royal court announced the phasing out of the labeling system that allows companies to use the Danish crown's image, effective by December 31, 2029. Currently, 104 Danish and five foreign companies hold such designations. The system, which has been in place since 1840, is deemed outdated as it implies special recognition from the Royal House.
