Børge Brende, the president and CEO of the World Economic Forum, resigned after the organization began an internal investigation into his past connections with Jeffrey Epstein. The WEF's probe was prompted by the release of documents by the US Department of Justice. Brende expressed gratitude for his colleagues and stated that it was the right time for the Forum to proceed without distractions. André Hoffmann and Larry Fink, WEF co-chairs, acknowledged Brende's contributions. Alois Zwinggi will serve as interim president during the leadership transition. Teljes cikk (Euronews.com)
