Denmark will lead discussions on the EU Cloud and AI Development Act and the Digital Networks Act (DNA) in July, gathering EU member states' views before the European Commission presents policy proposals by year-end. The Cloud and AI Act aims to triple the EU's data centre capacity in 5-7 years, focusing on sustainability. The DNA will be presented in December after a public consultation. The plan, initially criticized, has been modified under telecom industry lobbying. Denmark is taking over the Council Presidency from Poland and has increased its staff in Brussels.
