A 100-year-old estate in London has become the oldest social housing block in the UK to install a heat pump network, demonstrating that heat pumps can effectively work in older buildings. This project aims to provide renewable heating and hot water, reducing fossil fuel emissions and serving as a model for other social housing providers. The installation includes 81 flats fitted with ground source heat pumps, which are cost-effective and environmentally friendly.
