A trainee surgeon, Ryan Cho, was released on bail after being charged with secretly recording hundreds of colleagues in Australian hospital toilets. He faces around 500 charges related to 4,500 intimate videos recorded mainly in three Melbourne hospitals since 2021. The judge released him on the condition he lives with his parents, who posted a AU$50,000 surety. Cho, a permanent resident, could face deportation if convicted.
