Storm Marta has caused severe weather across the Iberian peninsula, resulting in one death in Portugal and multiple road closures in Spain. A 46-year-old emergency services member drowned in Campo Maior while attempting to cross a flooded area. The extreme weather has also led to the postponement of a presidential vote in three municipalities. Storm Kristin and Storm Leonardo previously caused fatalities in Portugal. Flood risks remain high in the Tagus river region, while Alcácer do Sal experienced significant flooding.
