The European Commission has postponed the launch of the Entry/Exit System (EES) for short-stay travelers, originally set for November 10, due to readiness issues from three member states: Germany, France, and the Netherlands. Commissioner Ylva Johansson suggested a phased approach for implementation, emphasizing the need for a resilient IT system.
