The European Commission's agencies recovered €3.6 million and €4.7 million in relation to the Microsoft case in Hungary, with a potential further €3.9 million pending. The Hungarian state has lost 3.3 billion forints and may lose another 1.6 billion. OLAF and the Hungarian Central Investigative Prosecutor's Office are investigating the case, which involves resellers selling Microsoft licenses at inflated prices to government agencies. 4iG, led by Gábor Felső, has been linked to the scandal, with connections to László Szíjj and Lőrinc Mészáros.
