Additionally, Hungary is criticized for a lack of transparency in awarding a mining contract. The Hungarian government has two months to respond to these proceedings. The Commission also addressed issues related to the Child Sexual Abuse Directive and the Hungarian retail tax, which has faced complaints for being discriminatory.
