A survey indicates that many are unaware of the new rules, leading to changes in travel plans. The EES aims to enhance border security and will be gradually implemented over six months, starting with Estonia, Luxembourg, and the Czech Republic. Travelers will need to scan their passports at self-service kiosks, and there are worries about potential delays at borders. Eurostar is taking measures to mitigate these delays.
