A new analysis reveals that European teenagers are increasingly using e-cigarettes while reducing alcohol and drug consumption. The ESPAD report, covering nearly 114,000 students aged 15-16 across 37 countries, shows a rise in e-cigarette use (44% tried, 22% regular users) and a decline in alcohol popularity, although heavy drinking persists in some regions. Cannabis remains the most commonly used illegal drug at 12%, with a noted increase in prescription drug misuse.
