On Wednesday evening, the closest supermoon of the year will be visible, appearing larger and brighter than usual. A supermoon occurs when a full moon coincides with its closest point to Earth, known as perigee. The November supermoon will be full on 5 November at 1:20 PM GMT, best viewed shortly after sunset. It will slightly affect tides due to its gravitational pull. The next supermoon will be on 6 December. Teljes cikk (Euronews.com)
