European lawmakers have decided to freeze the EU-US trade deal due to US President Trump's threats of new tariffs on several European countries. The deal, reached last summer, required formal implementation by the European Parliament, which has now postponed a scheduled vote. Tensions escalated after Trump threatened a 10% tariff on Denmark, Sweden, Norway, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Finland, and the UK until a deal for Greenland's purchase is made.
