French authorities have initiated a nationwide search for tiny Chinese-made telephones used by inmates for criminal activities. Under Operation Prison Break, searches are being conducted in 500 cells across 66 detention centers. The devices, known as 'suppositories' by inmates, have been linked to serious crimes. The supplier, Oportik, has been halted from trading, and three staff members were arrested.
