Germany's federal police will gain the authority to shoot down drones due to recent disruptions at Munich Airport caused by unknown drone sightings. The cabinet has approved a reform awaiting parliamentary approval, aimed at enhancing drone defense capabilities. This includes establishing a joint federal and state drone defense center and creating a dedicated drone defense unit.
