A collision between two oil tankers, ADALYNN and Front Eagle, in the Gulf of Oman near the Strait of Hormuz has raised concerns about a potential environmental disaster. Greenpeace reported that the ADALYNN tanker, part of a Russian 'shadow fleet', may have been carrying 70,000 tonnes of crude oil, leading to an oil plume stretching 1,500 hectares.
