A new analysis indicates that high-potency cannabis products increase the risk of psychosis, schizophrenia, and addiction. Despite cannabis being largely illegal in the EU, around 4.3 million people use it regularly. The study reviewed data from 99 studies involving over 220,000 individuals, highlighting the concerning mental health risks associated with high THC concentrations. While some benefits for anxiety and depression were noted, they were primarily among those with other health issues.
