A recent Ipsos poll reveals that about 75% of adults in 10 EU countries believe large companies should be held accountable for human rights and environmental harms. The survey, commissioned by Global Witness and Amnesty International, included 10,861 respondents from various EU nations. The poll follows discussions on the Corporate Sustainability and Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD), which aims to enforce accountability for human rights violations and environmental damage. A significant majority of respondents support legal obligations for companies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and believe in prosecuting companies for violations. Teljes cikk (Euronews.com)
