Hungarian troops to withdraw from key energy infrastructure sites, their presence no longer needed a few days after election 😔

The Hungarian Defense Forces will gradually withdraw troops from energy facility locations where security was previously increased. This decision follows a review of security measures due to concerns about potential disruptions from Ukraine. Approximately 600 personnel were involved in protecting critical infrastructure, but this number will decrease as the Ministry of Energy no longer requires military support.
