Brienz/Brinzauls, located about 40 kilometers southwest of Davos, has been declared a dangerous area due to a rapidly moving rock mass threatening the village. Local authorities issued a warning about the imminent collapse and ordered an evacuation just three weeks after a mudslide affected a nearby abandoned village. Livestock owners were instructed to move their animals from nearby pastures following early warning signs. The village has experienced previous evacuations due to similar threats, with rock movements ongoing since the last ice age. Human-induced climate change has not been attributed to the glacier retreat in this area. Teljes cikk (Magyarnemzet)
