Iraq has reopened the al-Nouri Grand Mosque in Mosul, destroyed by ISIS in 2017. The mosque, an iconic landmark for 850 years, was reconstructed with significant funding and support from UNESCO and international partners. Iraqi PM Mohammed Shia al-Sudani emphasized the importance of the mosque's restoration for cultural identity and youth innovation.
