The Italian Competition Authority (AGCM) fined fast fashion company Shein €1 million for misleading environmental claims. The fine was issued to Infinite Styles Services Co. Limited, which manages Shein's European website. AGCM criticized Shein's vague claims about recyclability and emissions targets, stating they were misleading. This follows a €40 million fine from France's antitrust agency. Shein accepted the fine and claimed to have taken corrective actions. Despite scrutiny over its environmental and labor practices, Shein's revenue remains high, and it is pursuing an IPO in Hong Kong after delays in London. Teljes cikk (Euronews.com)
