Karol Nawrocki, the newly elected opposition candidate, has begun a nationwide tour after being inaugurated as president. He has signed three legislative proposals during his recent rural meetings, including amendments to protect Polish agriculture from the EU-Mercosur agreement and the influx of Ukrainian agricultural products. Nawrocki aims to extend the ban on the sale of state-owned farmland until 2036 and has also signed a family support proposal that exempts parents of two or more children from income tax.
