Ilaria Salis, who gained her EP mandate in June, was previously imprisoned in Hungary for over 15 months due to her alleged involvement in a violent incident linked to a neo-Nazi event. Upon receiving her mandate, her criminal proceedings were suspended, and she was released from house arrest.
