Nurlan Smagulov, a Kazakh automotive magnate and philanthropist, has amassed over 700 artworks from notable Kazakh and international artists. The Almaty Museum of Arts, set to open in summer 2025, will showcase this collection and focus on modern and contemporary art from Kazakhstan and Central Asia.
