A court in southern France has increased the jail term of Husamettin Dogan, convicted of raping Gisèle Pelicot, from nine to ten years. Gisèle, a victim of prolonged abuse by her husband Dominique, testified about her trauma and the impact on her family. Dogan denied the charges, claiming he was unaware of Gisèle's drugged state, while Gisèle emphasized her lack of consent and the need for recognition of her suffering. Teljes cikk (bbc.com europe)
