Mol and its Slovak subsidiary Slovnaft have reported Croatian company Janaf to the European Commission for alleged monopoly abuse related to delays in Russian oil shipments via the Adria pipeline. Mol claims Janaf's actions restrict access and exacerbate supply insecurity, while Janaf denies these allegations and accuses Mol of attempting to justify discounted Russian oil imports.
