Moldova's parliament has voted to impose a state of emergency in the energy sector due to fears of insufficient natural gas supplies from Russia this winter. The state of emergency will begin on December 16 and last for 60 days, with measures to manage risks if gas supplies to the Kuciurgan power plant are disrupted. Prime Minister Dorin Recean warned of potential economic and humanitarian crises, while Moldova seeks to diversify its energy sources amid ongoing Russian interference. Teljes cikk (Euronews.com)
