He also pledged to prevent illegal immigration and support Poland's EU membership while maintaining national sovereignty. Nawrocki criticized the current state of the rule of law in Poland and vowed not to appoint judges who violate the constitution. His speech was well-received by supporters from the Law and Justice party, while Donald Tusk expressed concerns about Nawrocki's tone and potential consequences.
