An Italian museum, Palazzo Maffei in Verona, called for respect for art after a couple was filmed breaking a crystal-covered chair. The incident, which occurred in April, involved a man falling onto the chair, causing damage. Museum director Vanessa Carlon expressed concern over the couple fleeing without reporting the incident. The chair, created by artist Nicola Bolla, is a tribute to Van Gogh and is considered priceless. Although damaged, it has been restored. Carlon hopes to promote respectful behavior in art spaces.
