Alekszandar Vucsics, the Serbian president, warned of the unpredictable consequences of U.S. sanctions against the Serbian Oil Industry (NIS). The U.S. imposed sanctions on January 10, requiring Serbia to remove Russian capital from NIS within 45 days, which has been extended multiple times. Vucsics assured citizens that there are enough reserves and urged them not to panic, while also calling on Russia to negotiate with the U.S. for a solution. The NIS confirmed that sanctions would affect payment methods at gas stations. Teljes cikk (Index.hu)
