Lecornu aims for a 4.7% budget deficit by 2026, maintaining previous government goals. He dismissed suggestions from the left and unions regarding pension reform, stating they wouldn't solve any problems. France is among the most indebted countries in the eurozone, with a current deficit of 5.4% of GDP.
