Hungary has launched a significant family tax-cut program in 2025 to alleviate financial burdens on families with children. Key measures include tax exemptions for maternity, childcare, and adoption benefits, as well as lifelong income tax exemptions for mothers raising three children. Starting January 2026, additional exemptions will apply to younger mothers. The program aims to support young families financially and encourage childbearing, with plans for further tax cuts extending to mothers of various age groups by 2029. Teljes cikk (Magyarnemzet)
