Starting May 1, 2026, a new direct rail connection from Prague to Copenhagen via Berlin will be launched, enhancing Europe's long-distance rail network. This service, operated by Deutsche Bahn, Danish Railways, and Czech Railways, will take approximately seven hours between Copenhagen and Berlin, and eleven hours to Prague. The initiative is part of a European Commission project to improve cross-border train travel, addressing existing infrastructure and market challenges.
