Uzbekistan's electrical engineering sector has grown significantly, expanding eightfold in five years due to rising demand for appliances and solar components. In 2024, the industry generated 2.1 billion euros, with half of it exported and employing over 85,000 people. The Texnopark complex, a major manufacturing hub, produces 1.4 million items annually. Cable manufacturer Artikul Aziya Kabel aims to increase European exports by 40% with support from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, targeting annual exports of nearly 2.7 billion euros.
