Donald Tusk, the Polish Prime Minister, announced the closure of the Belarusian border for national security reasons due to the Belarusian-Russian Zapad-2025 military exercise scheduled for September 12-16. The closure will take effect on the night of September 11-12. Tusk warned Belarus on September 5 about potential 'special measures' in response to provocations during the exercise, which will involve various military operations, including the planning of nuclear weapon deployment.
