Orhan Demirci, a Turkish man, won a case at the European Court of Human Rights after being deported from Hungary, where he had lived for 31 years. The court ruled that Hungary violated his human rights by not providing a fair trial or effective legal remedies. Demirci, who arrived in Hungary legally in 1990 and established a family, was deported in 2021 based on national security concerns without proper justification.
