A Sotheby’s London auction featuring a collection from the late art patron Pauline Karpidas will take place from September 17-19. Karpidas, known for her bold taste in contemporary art, filled her Hyde Park apartment with works by Picasso, Magritte, and contemporary artists. The auction will showcase notable pieces including Magritte’s La Statue Volante and Picasso’s Buste d’homme, along with unique designs by Claude Lalanne and Jeff Koons.
