During a visit by Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó to Moscow, Russian President Vladimir Putin handed over two Hungarian-Ukrainian prisoners of war. The men had fought in the Ukrainian army and were released following a request from Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán. The discussions also included energy imports from Russia, with Hungary securing guarantees for oil and gas supplies despite the international energy crisis.
