Archaeologists from Pre-Construct Archaeology discovered two rare Iron Age objects near Thetford, Norfolk: the most complete battle trumpet (carnyx) in Europe and the first boar's head flag standard in Britain. The find, dating back to 50BC-AD50, includes five shield bosses and an iron object. Experts emphasize the significance of these artifacts for understanding Iron Age culture and music. The discovery will be featured on BBC Two's Digging for Britain. Teljes cikk (bbc.com europe)
