The European population is experiencing significant changes in religious affiliation. In 2020, 67% identified as Christian, down from 74% in 2010, while the unaffiliated grew by 37%. France and the UK lost their Christian majority, and Jews saw an 8% decline. Muslims increased by 15.9%, but their overall share grew less than one percentage point. The median age of Christians and Jews is higher compared to Muslims and the unaffiliated, reflecting an ageing population. Teljes cikk (Euronews.com)
