Romania's government announced an EU support package to aid those affected by recent flash floods that resulted in at least three deaths in the northeast. Aid will range from €3,000-6,000 per case after damage assessments in Neamt and Suceava. The EU Solidarity Fund will also be activated for reconstruction, with €78 million needed in Suceava.
